Tree falls on Rosedale man

A man has been freed after he was pinned beneath a tree north of Bundaberg.

It’s understood he was cutting trees in his Rosedale yard around 11am Sunday when the incident happened.

The Bundaberg-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew landed in a nearby paddock after the injured man called Triple Zero (000).

The critical care doctor and flight paramedic worked alongside local paramedics to treat him for a right leg fracture.

He was flown to Bundaberg Hospital for further treatment.
