A 53-year-old police officer is facing multiple charges in relation to an alleged assault.
The man has been charged with serious assault, public nuisance and breach of DVO, allegedly committed while he was off duty.
The officer has since been suspended from the Queensland Police Service.

He is set to face court in Maryborough on May 6.
