A trip to The Waves Sports Club has ended with a man becoming almost $69,000 richer.
He held a Keno Classic 8 Spot winning entry on May 16 and took home $68,961.80.
The man used a lucky set of numbers which had worked for him in the past too.
“I think it’s bloody good!” the winner declared when speaking with a Keno official.
“I only found out on Friday morning that I had won the day before. I’d put the numbers on, but I didn’t watch the draw.
“I always play Keno when I’m at the club. I play the same set of numbers, which include family birthdates. I’ve even won a 7 Spot prize a few times over the years with those numbers.
“I woke up this morning and had a look at the draw results and saw I had eight of the numbers! It was exciting.
“It’s a good way to end the week.
“I might buy a new car!”
