Police have made a public appeal to find a driver who they say avoided a roadside breath test.
Around 3:45pm Monday, July 8, police directed the vehicle to stop at a testing site on Station Road, Horton in the Childers area.
It’s alleged the driver continued ahead at speed, making no attempt to slow down, causing the officer to step off the road.

The vehicle is described as a white Holden Rodeo dual cab with a distinctive blue stripe down the driver’s side, black rims and bullbar.
At the time of the incident, the vehicle had no registration plates attached and was last seen driving eastward along Station Road towards Bootharh Road.
The driver is described as a Caucasian male with dark brown hair and bushy beard.
